In late October 2025, Disneyland Resort hosted a special event where 40 children from Make-A-Wish Foundation had their wishes granted in collaboration with Disney, YouTube, and philanthropist MrBeast. This marked the first time such a partnership brought together top creators to deliver personalized experiences for wish children.

Personalized Experiences for Wish Children

The event began with families arriving at the Disneyland Hotel, where each child was paired with a creator they admired. For instance, 16 children participated in a scavenger hunt across the park, culminating at Sleeping Beauty Castle, where they met MrBeast.

Other notable creators involved included Mark Rober, A for Adley, Chef Amaury Guichon, Doctor Mike, ZHC, and Sam & Colby. Activities ranged from crafting science experiments with Mark Rober and chocolate-making demonstrations with Chef Amaury Guichon. One child, Makayla, enjoyed a playdate with A for Adley, engaging in crafts and playing games like Rainbow Ghost Rescue. Another child built a lightsaber with Doctor Mike over at Galaxy’s Edge.

A Halloween-Themed Finale

The day concluded with a “Frightfully Fun Wish Party” at Disney California Adventure Park. The venue was transformed into a Halloween-themed setting featuring games, a Feastables claw machine, and a dance floor.

Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro and Disneyland Resort President Thomas Mazloum welcomed the families, emphasizing the company’s commitment to creating joyful experiences for children facing critical illnesses.

Disney’s Ongoing Partnership with Make-A-Wish

Disney has a longstanding relationship with Make-A-Wish Foundation, granting a wish every hour of every day. This event was part of Disney’s broader efforts to support the foundation’s mission. Earlier in 2025, Disney celebrated the granting of its 170,000th wish, highlighting its role as the world’s largest wish granter for Make-A-Wish.

This event represents a notable departure from the typical Make-A-Wish experience, which often involves visits from actors, athletes, or musicians. Instead of a single celebrity appearance, Disneyland’s collaboration incorporated multiple digital content creators with large online followings. These creators engaged directly with children through hands-on activities and interactive experiences, rather than traditional meet-and-greet or photo opportunities. This approach reflects a growing recognition of the influence of online personalities and the appeal of immersive, participatory interactions for today’s youth.

Community Engagement and Support

To further support Make-A-Wish, Disney, Charitybuzz, and Dude Perfect launched the “Ultimate Fairytale Escape” sweepstakes. Participants can donate to enter for a chance to win a vacation package, including a stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite at Walt Disney World Resort. All proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish, helping to grant more wishes for children in need. Check out castleforwishes.com and make your $10 donation to help kids get their wishes granted.

I’ll give this one to Disney. Not only are they continuing to grant wishes but they’ve seen the future of media and YouTube is King Dog now. And good for the creators too. I expect they volunteered their time and resources for planning and executing their specific bites of the experience.

It is encouraging that at least part of Disney has a bit of a clue and got this OK’d despite Disney and YouTube at odds on the content issue.

But, Disney wants your kids to be gay / trans, and makes propaganda to wit.
