When you’re the voice of Disneyland, can you can amass quite the collection…

An auction over the weekend by Heritage Auctions in Beverly Hills saw the sale of a number of high-end Disneyland and Disney World memorabilia. Included in more than 45,000 items (yes, you read that correctly), a gondola from the Disneyland and Disney World long-gone attractions sold for almost $200,000. Additionally, a ride vehicle from Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride came in at $87,000. Talk about spending on the things you want to remember forever!

The types of items on auction have been from the grandiose to the obscure… even internal costuming documents are available.

And if you’ve been looking for the perfect commuter car, look no farther than this $185,000 vehicle from Autopia!

According to CBS News, the vehicle was in astounding condition — to the point it’s a one-of-a-kind in private hands.

The car was first put into use at Disneyland in 1967, where it spent more than two decades. The front end of it was modeled after a Corvette Stingray, while the back was inspired by an Opal GT. The car still has “an original Autopia Mark VII insignia” on it, as well as “a plastic sign on the front rail reading ‘Do not bump car ahead, keep hands inside car.'”

You might wonder what in the world people would want with all of this stuff. What could you possibly do with vehicles from an attraction decades-past? Well, never doubt that with a little extra time, a whole lot of extra money, plus some ingenuity… there’s always a railroad just waiting to be built in your back yard.
