There’s a lull in the air over at Disney World. We’ve seen discounts for the parks and hotels repeatedly for both non-peak and peak seasons. Now they’re reaching out to Florida residents.

The pattern of discounts coming from Disney just keeps coming and may signal that CFO Christine McCarthy likely knew the “levers” she discussed at the last earnings report were likely to be used. For those who are unaware, questions came into then-leadership about how Disney would handle potentially lowered park demand. Though at the time they denied such a trend was likely, they said that they had “levers” they could use to drop prices and increase demand (one such method being discounts).
If you’re a Florida resident, Disney’s latest discount might be just what you need to go enjoy the park. The current deal does in fact pull the price per day under $100. Lately that’s been hard to come by:

Disney Weekday Magic Ticket
The Disney Weekday Magic Ticket is back!* Beginning Jan. 10, 2023, Floridians will be able to purchase a 2-day ticket for $175 (plus tax) to visit Walt Disney World Resort theme parks Monday through Friday (ticket is valid through April 27, 2023, subject to blockout dates**).
