Walt Disney World has launched a new marketing push called “Cool Kid Summer” that is mostly a gimmick of highlighted air conditioning experiences guests can enjoy (character meet and greets, the two “new” shows at Hollywood Studios). But there are a few perks and cost-cutting opportunities being rolled out by the resort to try to re-capture Disney World family attendance. Here’s the latest from Disney Parks Blog:

___

Make a splash right from the start. Guests of Disney Resort Collection hotels can enjoy free admission to one of our two water parks on the day of their check-in for free.

In case you missed it, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open this summer starting on May 21. Which one will you choose?

Guests of Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels can also enjoy 30 minutes of early theme park entry every day of their stay. You might even spot some of your favorite characters out in the park during this time.
