Every once in a while there is an article so good on another Disney news site that we just have to be in awe. When that happens, it’s only right that we link to the site and remember the old adage, “a rising tide lifts all boats.” So that’s what we’d like to do with Disney Food Blog today and their excellent cataloging of every price increase at Walt Disney World for the month of April. Not only that, but they also catalog every change to menus — and a constant we noticed was that Disney appears to be dropping food items and quick service restaurants which they cannot serve at a lower cost or which are difficult to supply during these times. For example, certain tuna items appear to be dropping from Disney World as those are more difficult to obtain in mass at the moment.
Some of the more significant changes are:
- The Fish and Chips at Epcot
- Changes to Sushi prices at Epcot
- Big price increases at Yak and Yeti and the Rainforest Cafe.
- The cost of pot roast everywhere at WDW has gone up.
But seriously, you should see the entire list of all the changes. You can read the article here.

Alright, readers, who wants to go through that entire list and find the average percentage increase on food items around Walt Disney World? Now that would be an interesting thing to discuss on a future article! Also, kudos to Disney because the prices for food items could have gone up on much, much more than what we have listed at DFB for April. It seems like Disney is still working to keep costs reasonable on many of their food items and credit goes where credit is deserved.
