Dollywood is kicking off their 2023 season with an all-new musical series that features a number of big names in country and bluegrass.
Music City isn’t far away, that being Nashville, and Pigeon Forge is about to play a number of tunes that harken back to earlier times. Still, the mountain music resonates to this day and millions of fans follow the latest and greatest bluegrass, folk, and Americana musicians keeping traditions alive. For Dollywood, that means a brand new event that is sure to get your toes tapping, your cultural appetite whetted, and maybe even a bit of inspiration to boot.
Here’s everything we know so far about the “I Will Always Love You” special event celebrating Dollywood’s 50th Anniversary:
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of Dolly’s biggest hits, I Will Always Love You, during this all-new event. This festive celebration kicks off the 2023 season commemorating the art of songwriting and the stories behind the songs. In addition to honoring Dolly’s iconic status as a songwriter, the event will recognize a number of noted and up-and-coming singers/songwriters with performances throughout the park. Look for special park décor, limited-time merchandise and more as we celebrate this momentous occasion.
