Dollywood and Allegiant Air have announced a one-time themed flight from Orlando FL to East Tennessee. The flight, titled Flight #925: Destination Dollywood, is scheduled to depart November 6, 2026.
The flight will operate between Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS). The Tennessee airport serves the Knoxville area and provides access to Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains region, just an hour away.

According to a joint announcement from Dollywood and Allegiant, the flight number references the song “9 to 5,” recorded by Dolly Parton.
The One-Time Flight
Company statements indicate that the experience will begin at the departure gate in Orlando. Planned activities include live entertainment, trivia, themed food and beverages, and limited-edition merchandise. These elements will continue during the flight.
Allegiant stated that the flight will operate as part of its regular commercial service. The themed components are being added specifically for this departure. The airline described the event as a one-day experience.

Drew Wells, Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, said about the flight,” Flight #925 is all about embracing the joy of travel. Partnering with Dollywood Parks & Resorts allows us to deliver a unique experience that reflects the best of both brands: great value, unforgettable moments, and the chance to create memories from the second you step on board.”
The press release did not disclose how many seats will be available for the themed flight.
More Perks
Passengers who travel on Flight #925 may purchase admission to Dollywood for November 7, 2026. Those guests will have access to select reserved ride times and designated seating at certain shows, according to the announcement. The visit will take place during the park’s Smoky Mountain Christmas festival.

Dollywood officials said the flight represents the first collaboration of this type between the park and an airline partner. Allegiant executives noted that the carrier already operates routes connecting Florida markets to East Tennessee.
Lodging packages are also being offered in connection with the event. These packages include accommodations at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa and HeartSong Lodge & Resort.
Why This is Significant
Dollywood has risen in popularity, from a regional attraction as Silver Dollar City in the late 70’s and early 80’s to award-winning theme park that competes with Disney and Universal. Dollywood often places ahead of Disney and Universal in guest satisfaction rankings in major industry surveys. In the 2025 America’s Best Customer Service report — compiled from consumer feedback by Newsweek and research partner Statista — Dollywood Parks & Resorts scored highest among major theme park operators in the “Amusement Park Experiences” category with a score of 93.22 out of 100. Disney Parks & Resorts came in second with 92.49, while Universal Parks & Resorts scored 90.1 in the same survey.

However, Dollywood has always stayed close to Parton’s roots in the Smoky Mountains. Even though the Applachian park competes with Disney and Universal for awards and guest satisfaction, it has not stepped foot into the Orlando tourism market.
Until now.
Kind of. This is a one time flight. But can we expect more from The Queen of Country and her southern hospitality in the theme park industry? Nothing is known yet. But a trip from Orlando seems oddly specific.

Just be sure to bring extra money for carry-on fees, checked bags, peanuts or pretzels, and every other thing. Allegiant has pretty much cornered the market as American’s Ryanair.
I’m surprised a park that wants to be seen as welcoming and homey as possible would partner with such a despicable Ultra-low cost carrier like this. Did anyone bother to run this by Dolly?
