Due to expansion, one of Dollywood’s oldest attractions has finally been destroyed. The old mining tunnel that connected Dollywood’s Fair Grounds area with Craftsman’s Alley has been demolished as a bigger, better addition will take its place. It was certainly a nice place to take solace during rain, as well as the location for Dollywood’s Gem Store. The area had been there since before the park was even named “Dollywood.
