Dollywood theme park in PIgeon Forge, Tennessee, has managed to make itself the absolute winner when it comes to the very best holiday experience at any theme park in the United States. The park has won the Golden Ticket Award for holiday experiences every single year the award has been offered. Now it is also in the running for USA Today’s Best Theme Park Holiday award… which it has also won eight years in a row.
Christmas in the Smokies” presented by Humana has already started at Dollywood and the reviews are outstanding. The theme park features so many Christmas lights that it looks like a more peaceful version of Vegas. Walking through the park, it seems like anything that can have a Christmas light tastefully attached to it has about a dozen strands added for full effect. No matter where you are in the country, a Dollywood Christmas should be on everyone’s list.
The event features fireworks, Christmas lights, decorations, music, shows, and more. For Dollywood to take on and beat the financial behemoth parks that rule the Sunshine State and the Golden State, you know they’re doing something right.

Dollywood will have the Christmas lights shining through January 2nd this year.
