What is it called when the people who are your biggest fans suddenly can’t even find the words to describe just how bad the thing they love has become?
The overwhelming response on the internet to the latest Mandalorian episode is one of stunned defeat. Those who had hoped for Jon Favreau or Dave Filoni to come through with great Star Wars are just going to have to accept that they had a pretty decent two seasons. The third season is turning into a steaming pile of galactic manure. Even the most ardent fans, like Echo Base Network, are just having to throw in the towel at how bad this has become.

Whatever enthusiasm existed before is probably gone now when it comes to The Mandalorian. Nielsen ratings won’t be out for this episode for another five weeks, but the decline should be apparent even before we get there.
