Entertainment Corps Begin Seeing Trouble with China as Public Awakens

For many years now, China has posed an existential threat to freedom and liberty around the world. Through their One Road One Belt initiative, the communist-controlled nation has sought to economically enslave impoverished countries around the world, while simultaneously controlling rare Earth minerals and supply chains. The Chinese Communist Party has likewise worked to eradicate any semblance of competition or ethnic diversity within its own borders, systematically wiping out the Uyghur Muslims through concentration camps, forced labor, indoctrination, slavery, and sterilization.

Xinjiang Birthrates Plummet

The nation has used the United States’ open corporate investment system to infiltrate the most powerful, wealthy, and influential corporations and persons within America. Companies like The Walt Disney Company and Nike have essentially folded to the authoritarian oligarchs of Beijing over the past decade. Nike allegedly uses slave labor to create its goods; Disney went so far as to thank the very government authorities that control concentration camps. It’s like the deep south plantations and 1930’s Germany had a baby… and all of our institutions have wanted to coddle it. The west has been investing in its own worst enemy determined on its demise.

But things are beginning to change, perhaps just in time, or perhaps too late… that future has yet to be written.

The public is waking up to the Chinese government threat and is beginning to punish entertainment companies that embrace the evils coming from the Middle Kingdom. When Lebron James came out in defense of China, there was serious impact on his image. Perhaps that is why Space Jam: A New Legacy is one of the biggest theatrical flops of all time, even with simultaneous streaming. The controlled media narrative may have protected James from being implicated as a financial failure with fans, but fans have caught on nonetheless.

Just as a wakeup call for a reader who has no idea what is going on in China, let me show you this video from Olympic athletes of African descent arriving at the Olympics. This is what actual racism looks like (and yes, it’s very offensive):

You won’t hear anything about that from Lebron James though. You won’t hear anything about that from the mainstream American media. Surely that should be worthy of hours of media coverage, right? Nope. It costs money to show what is happening in China when American companies want to make money off of the “genocide games.”

In an open letter sent to broadcasting executives on Tuesday, campaigners warned companies were “at serious risk of being complicit in China’s plan to ‘sport wash’ the severe and worsening human rights abuses and embolden the actions of the Chinese authorities.”

By airing the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, the broadcasters “will legitimize these abuses and promote what is being widely described as the ‘Genocide Games,'” the rights groups said in their appeal.

— John Feng, Newsweek

Is this why Hong Kong protesters were waiving Lebron James Mao posters? Those are the same Hong Kong defenders of democracy who are now gone… because Hong Kong was taken over.

How bad is the fallout from the China connection for Lebron James? In a summer that was largely freed from the pandemic (before the return in the fall), James’ Space Jam flick only made $144,003,749 total at the global box office. The movie cost an estimated $250 million for production and marketing… and Warner Bros likely only pulled in about 60% of the $144,003,749. For those of you doing the math, that’s a loss of about $164 million to Warner Bros.

It’s not getting better for the NBA or entertainment companies though. Fans and the public have caught on. To see how it is going, check out a part-owner of the Golden State Warriors and his disgusting comments on the Uyghur genocide taking place in China:

This then resulted in the Warriors co-owner, Chamath Palihapitiya, having to do an apology. But the apology is so pathetic that it equivocates China and the United States as having similar human rights, it fails to even mention the Uyghurs who are being eradicated from the Earth, and doesn’t reverse his stance that they matter. It’s just vague mush:

The response has been deafening. The public is awake.

What’s happening here is that the financial and political intelligentsia are just now getting the memo that the public has caught onto what they’ve been up to. For decades now, the wealth of the western nations has (once again) been subsidized on the backs of slaves. Instead of deep south plantations, its Chinese slaves behind a digital curtain that protects CEOs and corporations from empathetic eyes seeing what is going on. Now that is falling apart, but the intelligentsia is still too scared to do the right thing… maybe they’ve forgotten how. Luckily, the public at large is not so immoral.

As a result NBC’s gambit with the exclusive rights to the Olympics broadcasts is likely going to blow up in their face. Already articles are being written about how they’ll fail with viewership. Absent from the discussion is clarity that these companies are getting what they deserve for cuddling with communist dictators. Instead, it’s a “confluence of many negative factors”… which is business jargon for “the chickens are coming home to roost.”

The same is true for companies like Disney, where they’ve done everything in their power to play nice with China. Now they are stuck with two parks in communist territory (one was conquered, the other was in communist land to begin with), and the potential to lose billions upon billions should they do anything that incurs the wrath of the CCP. Is it any wonder that even as Disney is shut out of China theatrically for an entire year, Disney makes not a single peep publicly to say they disagree?

International Box Office Outlook: Hope Springs For 2022 Overseas, But Will China Ever Forgive Marvel?

It may finally be time that companies are realizing what a horrible thing they’ve gotten into by latching onto a genocidal, slavery-driven dictatorship. It’s only a shame it took the public seeing through the corporate media lies via a pandemic before this all happened. If anyone has ever wondered how the German government ran a genocide in the 1930s and 40s without the world stopping it sooner, it’s all happened again and we’re all to blame if we did not raise our voices. It will be years and decades before we see the images, the horrors, of what we have allowed… but future generations will judge us severely. May we be nothing like Lebron James or Chamath Palihapitiya when that day comes.

The most disgusting anti-Disney and anti-everything-Disney-was-supposed-to-stand-for moment was Bob Iger selling his soul and Disney’s soul out to communists. It is an utter embarrassment, the lowest of lows and I believe marked Disney’s “coming out” as a follower, a hapless flailing backseat passenger on a communist bus with no brakes speeding down America’s broken highways, blowing kisses out the window to unstable woke zealots along the way. Once a leader. A titan and pillar of American culture and exceptionalism. The magnitude of Disney’s fall from grace and it’s repercussions on society/culture is enormous.

America needs to divest from China. Boycott the Olympics and NBA. Don’t buy anything from Disney or see their Woke movies. What a shame that Disney even opened a Disneyland in Shanghai. When the park opened, China was more open than today. China completely shutdown since the pandemic.

I’ll say this, the Chinese people are awesome. I love the teams that I work with there and they are very talented and gracious. That said, you can tell they censor themselves on certain topics and always seem ‘uneasy’. Unfortunately I am starting to see the same behavior here in the US where people are acting like they’re walking on eggshells all of the time. Corporate American has already sold out, and the politics is right behind it.
If we had true competition and anti-trust laws that were enforced, we might not be in this situation.

Criticizing an authoritarian government has nothing to do with the people living under said authoritarians. Hopefully that’s blatantly obvious to anyone with a pulse lol
