According to WDWMagic, Epcot’s new Harmonious show will be debuting at a time unfamiliar to the park. For decades, Epcot’s nighttime shows have always been at 9:00 PM sharp. However, Harmonious will debut at 9:45 PM EST. A source for That Park Place says the change in timing is intended to assist in park hopping that is bound to ensue. We’re not sure how this assists Disney World crowd management yet, but we will follow up.

Disney’s Harmonious show is said to be absolutely spectacular in execution, but does come with some baggage. Guests have complained that the barges and center halo are obnoxious and visually intrusive during the day. Some have compared the set pieces to the backstage of a rock concert facility. If the show is as amazing as Disney believes it might be, it stands to reason that perception could change. Otherwise, people might not be so forgiving of the daily eyesore.
After several weeks at 9:45 PM, we do expect Epcot’s Harmonious to migrate to 9:00 PM start times at some point in the future.
