A former executive assistant for a top level Hollywood studio executive alleges that the showrunner of Lucasfilm’s The Acolyte, Leslye Headland, was given the job in order to stay silent on Harvey Weinstein. We are keeping the individual’s identity private for their protection.

This former assistant informed That Park Place that Headland “was certainly paid off, in cash, bigtime to keep her trap shut even with permission to do the play.”
The assistant added, “The job with Disney was also part of the payoff.
According to this source, Disney also brought in Headland to keep its secrets knowing that she kept Weinstein’s secrets for four years. That Park Place cannot verify the veracity of these claims. For now, they are strictly uncorroborated statements made by a Hollywood insider.
Going beyond those statements, the source also provided further clarification on the way in which Hollywood works with secret-keepers:
“They KNOW they have beans to spill and have to keep that ‘trustworthy-if-you-reciprocate-with-perks/pay/promotion’ factor in EVERY hire, and somebody who is PROVEN to have that is a real ‘find’ for them, even with what we have to assume is a pretty strict NDA upon signing up.”

Headland served as Weinstein’s personal assistant for four years beginning in 2003 and used her time under Weinstein to create her 2008 play “Assistance.”
In that time, new documents reveal that Weinstein was in communication with convicted child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. NDTV reports that a third batch of documents recently released “include a handwritten note dated 2005 that mentions Weinstein’s name, indicating that he attempted to reach Epstein at around 10:20 am in March 2005.
The note read, “She had on the phone, Mr. Harvey Weinstein.”

As reported by The Sun, lawyer Bradley Edwards detailed in his book that Epstein and Weinstein were quite close until a falling out occurred after Weinstein attempted to make a move on one of his favorite girls.
In Relentless Pursuit: My Fight for the Victims of Jeffrey Epstein, Edwards detailed, “Jean-Luc described one incident in greater detail, which he said culminated in a heated argument between Epstein and Weinstein that terminated their relationship.”
He continued, “Weinstein was at Epstein’s apartment in France receiving a massage from one of Epstein’s girls when he attempted to aggressively convert the massage into something sexual. The girl rejected his advances. As the story goes, Harvey then verbally abused her for rejecting him.

“Little did Harvey know, this was one of Epstein’s favourite girls at the time and Jeffrey viewed the aggressive mistreatment as disrespectful to him,” Edwards relayed. “Jeffrey then came into the room, got in Harvey’s face, and kicked him out of his house, delivering the message that he was never to come back.”
Edwards concluded, “I heard various versions of this story from others, including years later from Epstein himself, who referred to Harvey as a pig. Imagine that.”
It’s unclear when this happened, but Weinstein was photographed with both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell while the trio were attending the birthday part of Princess Beatrice at Windsor Castle in 2006.

Given Headland served as Weinstein’s assistant from 2003 to 2007 that means she was employed when Weinstein was seemingly still chummy with Epstein.
It also leads one to question how much Headland knew about what Weinstein and Epstein were doing.
