Giant Inflated Baymax Dominates Hollywood Studios as Show Is Controversial

There’s not been a balloon this big at Hollywood Studios since the Kermit icon was floating above the park. Let’s hope this one doesn’t stay as long as a sorcerer’s hat.

Parents and families may be staying away from movies like Lightyear and potentially shows like Baymax!, but that isn’t stopping Walt Disney World guests from seeing a huge marketing push for the controversial show at Hollywood Studios. Just outside the main gates of Disney’s smallest WDW theme park, a gigantic, inflated Baymax figure dominates the view of everyone. Will it convince parents to have their children watch a show that promotes forced medical treatments, vegan food trucks, and biological males using traditionally feminine hygiene products? We’re not counting on it.

From BioReconstruct:

Our guess is this show is every bit as popular as Pixar’s Lightyear. Which is to say, this is hopefully nearing the end of Disney’s efforts to put politics and divisive dogma into children’s programming. Save it for older teens and adults, please, if you’re going to do it at all.
