One of Disney World’s best after-hours events is coming back for the summer in 2022! No, it isn’t at a traditional theme park… instead, this one involves plenty of water and lots of colors. I’m talking about H20 Glow at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon!
This is one event that I personally enjoy and can attest to. For basically the same price as a normal day ticket at the water park, guests can buy access to Typhoon Lagoon from 6PM to 11PM, every Saturday from May 28th until August 27th. During that time, crowds tend to be very small, lines are often non-existent, you still have sun during the summer for three hours with two hours of neon and softly lit pathways. You get to experience Typhoon Lagoon in a way that is normally off-limits. Plus, the DJ and music in the past have been very fun… and if you’re into adult beverages, there are unique options only available at H20 Glow.
This one is ten dollars more expensive than in the past, with a cost of $75 for adults and $70 for children. However, if you’re a passholder, there’s a ten dollar discount. Here’s the official Disney rundown of everything that is available:
- Favorite attractions open after hours, including the wave pool, Miss Adventure Falls, Crush n’ Gusher and Humunga Cowabunga.
- New glow lighting effects and décor.
- High-energy DJ dance parties.
- Exclusive adult-only area.
- Complimentary glow wristbands.
- Complimentary ice cream treats, popcorn and selected beverages.
- Exclusive glow-themed food and beverage.
Best of all, if you book this one, your family is sure to think you’re a genius. How did you even know about this special event? Prepare to watch everyone love you for grabbing a water park almost all to yourself. Just make sure to grab dinner before heading over – my experience is that you’re better off getting a meal elsewhere and then coming over.
