It is one of the final restaurant offerings to come back online at the Walt Disney World Resort following the pandemic. After significant fears that it might suffer the same fate as the Polynesian Luau show, the Hoop-de-Doo Musical Revue will officially return on June 23rd.
A staple of Disney World for more than forty years, the wild west style dinner features live actors, Vaudeville-esque humor, and all the smoked ribs and fried chicken you might want to eat. It has been decades since I’ve seen the show, and yet I’m still very happy to see it come back. At least there’s a little bit of old school Disney World still available.

Reservations can be made starting May 26th. The show is reported to have been updated, so we just have to hope that there’s nothing controversial or modern that has been introduced. At this point, you just have to cross your fingers that modified shows will stay true to their original form and not part of anything that will drive news stories.
