The Humunga Kowabunga waterslide at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park closed on January 20, 2026, according to notices issued by Walt Disney World Resort. The ride will be taken out of operation nearly a month before the park’s broader seasonal refurbishment begins on February 15, 2026.
