Prior concept art had alluded to the possibility of a connected hotel, but now Universal Parks News Today has seen a survey that indicates it may be more than just artwork…

It’s a short one today, but worthy of our attention. Universal Parks News Today has come across a survey that makes a connected hotel to the upcoming Epic Universe a more likely reality. Epic Universe will be the third Universal Studios Orlando theme park once completed, and if the survey is an indicator of what is coming, guests may be able to stay on property throughout the night.

According to the article, a survey was given that asked guests about their hotel preferences when it came to pricing and location in regards to going to the forthcoming Epic Universe. One of the hotel options on the survey was a hotel that is located on-site.

For a rundown on the design of Epic Universe, we recommend reading the “Complete Guide” at Orlando Informer.

Just to give you an idea of the size of these two chunks of Universal Orlando, the north campus is roughly 735 acres, whereas the newly acquired south district is approximately 750 acres (at least, that’s all that Universal has confirmed at the moment). Don’t worry – the company will provide free transportation to get guests from one area to the other, most likely in the form of shuttles. (In fact, the company has already devoted some $160 million to Orange County to help expand Kirkman Road, which will become the main artery of traffic from the north campus to the south, presumably by adding on [even more] bus lanes.) — Orlando Informer
