J.A. Adande on Disney’s ESPN Compares US to Genocidal China

There are bad takes, and then there baaaad takes. In a week that sees Whoopi Goldberg suspended for having claimed Jews were not murdered in mass during WWII for their race, another Walt Disney Company employee is making waves. This time it is J.A. Adande of ESPN, claiming that voting rights issues in the United States are analogous to the ongoing genocide, forced labor, slavery, and abuse of Uighur Muslims in China.

Wow.

The clip is still up on the official Around the Horn Twitter account. It’s insane.

This now makes two Disney employees who are downplaying mass genocide. Even worse, nobody disagreed in the clip, and others even joined in. The tweet from Around the Horn has less than 200 likes. Meanwhile, the responses are many, and they have much more support:

As the left-leaning Allah Pundit says:

“Maybe that’s the new endpoint on the spectrum of American wokeness. There’s woke, then there’s extremely woke, then ludicrously woke, and finally anti-anti-genocide.”

A message to Bob Chapek and Susan Arnold of The Walt Disney Company: This sort of thing has to stop. This level of depravity just can’t keep going on within your company. Support or dismissal of the grave evil of genocide is unacceptable.
