John Golf: “My Time With Timeshares at Parc Soleil In Orlando”

Parc Soleil opened in 2009 and I’m pretty sure that we visited this resort at least 12 times in the next ten years. Our first experience with Hilton Grand Vacations was referenced in my previous article where I focused on the property at Sea World. Parc Soleil provided the same amenities as Sea World. However, it was newer, fresher and the pool had a water slide.

Getting Spoiled

We felt like we got a great deal when we stayed at HGV at Sea World. Falling in love with Parc Soleil was easy for us. We went to the water park called Wet ‘N Wild, which is no longer there. After spending a full day at the water park, we headed back to our room at Parc Soleil. Our kids couldn’t wait to get back to the waterslide at the resort. We figured as long as we stayed at Parc Soleil, there would be no need to do water parks in the future. This allowed us to put our money towards traveling to the beach (Daytona Beach about an hour away from our resort) for one day on our vacation.

More Spoiling

If you are staying for a full week, plan on having your room cleaned on a couple of days. Any time we were running low on fresh towels, a quick call would get some sent to us rather quickly. I mentioned the Activity Center at Sea World, well I have to mention the Activity Center at Parc Soleil. It was bigger and better than Sea World. There were more activities to do and my kids started to gain some independence. There were video games, a ping-pong table, a pool table, reading areas, board game areas and on and on. Again, the staff were very friendly and very professional. I’m pretty sure that you could ask either one of my adult children now and they would glow about the Activity Center at Parc Soleil.

Location, Location, Location

Parc Soleil is a couple of miles from Sea World, Walt Disney World and about seven miles from Universal. When we visited Orlando last week, we drove by Parc Soleil on a couple of occasions. There are numerous restaurants that are being built right outside the property which means you don’t have to drive to go get some good food. Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets is a little less than a mile away from the resort. Golf anyone? There are several golf courses within a 10-mile radius. I love playing at the Waldorf Astoria course because it’s challenging but very beautiful.

Other Pluses

What are some other amenities that we enjoy at Parc Soleil? I have used their fitness center and made good use of the track around the big pond. The restaurant by the pool always serves fresh and great-tasting foods with plenty of drinks available. You can even schedule a massage if you so happen to need some help relaxing. The hot tubs are a nice way to end a day or begin an evening by the pool. I also loved the nights when the Activity Center planned movie night at the pool when they used a giant blow-up screen to show. You could actually watch the movie from your balcony if your room was facing the pool.

Again, my family has found what we feel is a great value for us. We vacation regularly and have found Hilton Grand Vacations Club a great way to spend some great quality time together.

Be blessed and safe travels!!!
