WDWNT is reporting that the new MagicBand+ wristwear accessory has shown up in stores around Walt Disney World today. The new version of the MagicBand comes with a price tag of $30 and has a bit of interactivity not seen in the original version. This even includes limited lighting and visuals in the center icon.

If you’re interested in trying out a MagicBand+ make sure to check out the following video that covers all of the Disneyland and Disney World MagicBand+ features you can expect. Personally, I don’t see the upgrade to be worthwhile versus the original, but this comes down to personal preference. If you have a child that is enamored with the little lighting features, it’s probably money well-spent on your big Disney vacation.

According to the Disney website:

Enjoy all of the features you’ve come to love with MagicBand—plus so much more! Debuting as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration, MagicBand+ lets you engage with Disney moments like never before as it reacts to park interactions with lighting effects and gesture recognition.
