Actress Michelle Trachtenberg, known for her roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Harriet The Spy, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, and Gossip Girl, has passed away at the age of 39. Sources have confirmed that she was found at her residence in One Columbus Place, a luxury apartment complex in Manhattan’s Central Park South neighborhood, early Wednesday morning by her mother.

Authorities stated that she was discovered unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. Officials have indicated that there is no suspicion of foul play, and the medical examiner will determine the official cause.

Michelle Christine Trachtenberg was a prominent actress whose career began at just three years old in commercials. She made her television debut on Nickelodeon’s The Adventures of Pete & Pete (1994–1996), which set the stage for a successful career in television and film.
