What exactly is keeping Ezra Miller on the payroll at Warner Bros Discovery despite waves of cancellations for far less?
Though he has been down and out with a respiratory illness for the last couple of days (now worries, immune systems are glorious things), Valliant Renegade was able to spend plenty of time looking up the latest Hollywood news between his snoozes. And at some point in all of his recovering from a case of the blehs, he came across Mr. H Reviews with a very interesting video all about why Warner Bros Discovery have kept Ezra Miller while slashing through so many other properties.
We’ve covered this at length in the past on That Park Place. Some say The Flash is a launchpad for other characters that would crash the whole DC film effort if it were scrapped. Some say that it’s the best of a whole bunch of bad movies. Whatever has WB Discovery head honcho, David Zaslav, keeping an extremely problematic actor on board, there really were not a lot of great answers. After all, having someone accused of abusing a minor and wanted in multiple states is a heck of a PR nightmare. Yet there was The Flash, surviving wave after wave of cancellations.
But Mr. H Reviews has a great video that explains a lot. Kudos to Valliant Renegade for finding it and making sure we got this up for its very own article. It’s definitely worth a watch on a day when most of the other news is going to be swept up by just how bad Rings of Power has turned out to be.
