It may be awhile before performances of Fantasmic at Disneyland in California resume.
We’d like to say we’ve never seen anything like this before. That, however, would not be true. Just like the dragon parade float at Walt Disney World, another dragon named Murphy caught fire last night. And, similar to the last burning dragon, Murphy does not appear to be immune.
During last nights performance of #Fantasmic!, a freak accident occurred in which the propellant for Murphy's 🔥 (a substance similar to powdered creamer) failed to fully discharge b4 ignition, resulting in the entire figure being engulfed in 🔥

The incredible flames required Tom Sawyer Island and much of the seating area be evacuated. Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded. There are no reported injuries, but Murphy the Dragon likely needs to be completely rebuilt.
And that means Fantasmic may be on a very long hiatus.
