The price for annual passes did not go up as much as many were expecting. The number of reservations an annual pass holder can make is very reasonable. And yet there are a number of additional changes to Walt Disney World annual passes that might frustrate those otherwise interested.
Annual Passes, often referred to as APs, have not been offered for new availability throughout the pandemic. This morning that changed as Disney released an all-new system of annual passes, tiers, and pricing. One of the things that might frustrate the average annual pass holder is that non-residents of Florida who are not DVC members (i.e. the vast majority of interested customers) are only able to purchase the absolute most-expensive tier of annual passes. That said, Florida residents have access to fantastic pricing for their options.

For non-Florida residents, you’re basically going to be paying $1,300.00 per guest (not including tax). You’re also going to need to check the various perks that you receive and don’t receive based on the tier that you choose to purchase (if you’re a Florida resident or DVC member). The changes from the past are extensive and mean that it would be wise to review the benefits that come with being an AP Holder. An example is that none of the new AP options include Photopass. Make sure to read the fine print before purchase given the number of modifications from past annual pass options.
