Despite the rumored cuts coming to Disney Parks capital expenditures, it looks like at least one program is going to make it through. According to sources, a program we’ve discussed before is going ahead: DVC Member Lounges and AP Member Lounges. Those refer to Disney Vacation Club and Annual Pass-holders.

Already existing on the top floor of the Imagination Pavillion in Epcot since 2016, the DVC Member Lounge has proved to be a popular benefit for DVC members. That had allegedly led to leadership in The Walt Disney Company to consider adding DVC Member Lounges to other parks as well as AP Member Lounges. The two would be kept separate and no details are known as to whether or not the AP Lounges would require an extra fee should they be added. It has also been said that AP Member Lounges would offer a better solution to providing AP specific benefits, rewards, prizes and merchandise for Disney.
Here’s what you can expect should these come to fruition:

These possible additions to the parks are still rumored to happen and are not concrete. It is possible that they could be included in the major cuts we’re hearing are headed to WDW. At this time, however, we’re still hopeful they’ll make it through.
Special thank you to WDW Pro for providing some of the rumored information for this article.
