Late October will offer new flexibility to annual passholders at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida as an updated calendar has added several “Good-to-Go” days. The resort added four new dates: October 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th. On those dates, annual passholders may enter any of the theme parks without needing to secure a park-reservation ahead of time.
This is an odd addition with Halloween being on the 31st. It appears that the Disney company is not expecting a large crowd in the days leading up to the major holiday.
What “Good-to-Go” Means
The “Good-to-Go” days label identifies days when Disney World annual passholders do not need to book a separate park reservation in advance in order to enter one of the resort’s theme parks. On most other days, passholders still must have both a valid annual pass and a park-reservation for the specific park and date.

In addition, on non-“Good-to-Go” days passholders may also enter any of the parks after 2 p.m. without a reservation (with the exception of Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays).
The Recent Update and its Context
The October additions follow earlier announcements. For example, on September 26th the calendar was updated to include October 1st and 2nd. On October 22nd the update added the later four dates above.

The change comes amid a broader trend. An article from October 2025 described how the resort appears to be steadily increasing the number of “Good-to-Go” days, and suggested the move may reflect a shift in the park-reservation system for annual passholders.
What Annual Passholders Should Note
-
Even on “Good-to-Go” days, annual passes remain subject to blockout dates or other eligibility restrictions tied to the tier of pass held.
-
If a date becomes a “Good-to-Go” date after you had already booked a park-reservation for that date, information indicates the prior reservation will be released and will not count against your allotment of allowed reservations.
-
The list of “Good-to-Go” dates is released on a rolling basis, typically days or weeks in advance rather than all at once for the year.
-
Outside of the “Good-to-Go” mechanism, the standard rules for passholders remain in effect: reservation required before 2 p.m. at most parks, and for Magic Kingdom on weekends.
Implications
For passholders who visit the parks during the week of October 27-30, this update means more spontaneous access is possible without prior planning of which park to visit and when. The change may reduce the need for lock-in to a specific park reservation in advance for those dates. The expansion of “Good-to-Go” days may also reflect the resort’s evolving approach to balancing guest access and capacity management.

Still, passholders should monitor their individual calendars via the My Disney Experience app or the annual-passholder admissions calendar. Because the release of these special dates is incremental, relying on them without verifying availability (or on your pass-tier’s block-out status) could lead to mis-planning.
