How did Obi-Wan Kenobi do with its now completed season on Disney+? Listen along and find out with That Park Place writers!
It was a matchup in the making for more than a decade. A return to the prequel duel that set the events of everyone’s favorite trilogy into motion, we finally were given that Obi-Wan Kenobi story people had been anticipating for so long. What did happen while he waited alone on Tatooine?
With at least the first season concluded, and perhaps the full series, it’s time to go back and look at the story in its entirety. Yes, we’ve reviewed each episode weekly, but the show is not the sum of its parts. It is, in fact, a cohesive tale that we should examine in its whole. For that reason, That Park Place writers, Lorn Conner and WDW Pro, sat down for a table-talk discussion about Kenobi, its ups and downs, Star Wars, the potential for a second season, and so much more. Join them and see if you agree on the finer and larger points of perhaps Kathleen Kennedy’s final foray into the legacy characters.
As requested in the audio discussion, we covet your input. Share your thoughts down in the comments below and let’s turn this into a That Park Place community dialogue. And, as always, you know where to turn to for all the news that should be fun, all the leaks that entertain, and the analysis that every fandom craves.

One bit that he said wrong was is that Leia does have quite an emotional reaction too Alderaan blowing up, but she has time to reflect in her cell. However, she has ZERO reaction to Kenobi dying, That does not work.
This is true – but the issue is that all of that emotional turmoil is portrayed offscreen, and never addressed in either the movies or the shows.
I’m not saying Leia doesn’t have emotions or an emotional response – just that her strength is that she’s able to get on with things in the moment to do what needs to be done.
I think I see the Disney Star Wars plan. Their best film is arguably Rouge One, which was created to fix a plot hole in A New Hope. Disney must have decided that they should just punch a bunch of plot holes in the OT so they can make a bunch of movies to try and fix their mistakes…
*shudders* That’s so terrible, you may be right.
