The hurricane teams for Walt Disney World are absolutely incredible. Days after a storm, you’d never know.
As promised, reporters for That Park Place were on the ground immediately after Hurricane Ian moved through Orlando. Thankfully, the worst of the storm stayed south of Disney and the other theme parks. However, we purposefully did not send reporters to ride out the storm at the resort — we felt it was better that we not use rooms that stranded tourists might need.
Following a quick scramble of our reporters due to a positive case of COVID (and minor symptoms), we’re ready to share our findings of a very sparsely crowded Magic Kingdom over the last days. As you view these, remember the tremendous efforts of dedicated cast members who keep the parks looking tremendous.

As you can see, even the fall and Halloween decor was reinstalled by Saturday morning. How impressive!
