I didn’t know it was a thing. Soyny have pretty much nothing to offer me. All their first party studios produce woke cinematic garbage and they port all their exclusives to PC. Plus their California censorship department is alive and well.

Since the PS2 I got every Sony console and preordered the PS4 and PS5. But Sony lost me in this Generation. There weren’t really any good exclusives. The only really good exclusive PS5 game that comes to my mind is Astro Bot. But that’s not enough to sell me on the next console

The funny thing is, at the beginning of this console generation, I was actually thinking Microsoft might win this and it’s the first Generation, where I also bought an XBox. Because of all the studios MS bought and the rumors of a new Fable. I was expecting the XBox to become the RPG console. But MS somehow managed to lose me even more than Sony with all their woke BS.

Next console generation I will hold off from buying any console until there are enough good games, free of agenda and worth playing.

My story is similar. I was a really big PlayStation fan and I owned every console from the PS2 to the PS4 including the handhelds PSP and Vita and I even got a PSVR. Then Sony lost me last gen by forming the censorship department around 2018, pushing wokeness in their games, butchering God of War into a Last of Us clone and closing Studio Japan amongst other things. As you said nothing in the PS5 generation even tempts me to buy the console.

This is why I got a Switch and migrated to Nintendo, which weirdly was the best option from the Big 3, but now they are screwing things up with the Switch 2, so it looks like I’ll become mostly a retro gamer with the occasional PC game.

No need for this, since it won’t have any exclusive games like Nintendo. Besides, with crippling electricy costs nowadays (thank you EU and Germany), this kind of a console is doomed to fail. The days of having a battery is a new necessity for me just like being able to play everywhere I go.
