Disney’s trailers for its upcoming live action Snow White remake starring troubled and controversial Hollywood star Rachel Zegler have all received insane dislike ratios on YouTube. But when one looks at the three videos side by side, a trend emerges that should be alarming for the brass at Disney.
Most notably, each subsequent Snow White trailer has received fewer views and interactions than the one before it, showcasing a growing apathy among the movie-going public.

The first trailer garnered an impressive 11 million views rapidly, but interest did not sustain over time. It eventually accumulated 1.5 million viewer interactions on YouTube, composed of 1.4 million dislikes and just 100,000 likes. Shortly after the release of this trailer, Rachel Zegler went on social media and thanked the audience for all the views before ending her message with “Free Palestine.”

After that, the second trailer saw a decrease in views, garnering only 6.7 million. The post received 883,000 interactions—849,000 dislikes and only 34,000 likes. Shortly before this trailer debuted, Zegler had her now infamous post-election social media meltdown where she declared that incoming President Donald Trump and his supporters should “never know peace.”

On Christmas Day, Disney released a sneak peek musical video featuring Zegler singing the film’s original song “Waiting on a Wish.” This was essentially a veiled third trailer, and the response has been once again overwhelmingly negative. The video has amassed only 218,000 views over six days, accompanied by 30,700 interactions. Of these, 27,000 are dislikes compared to a mere 3,700 likes as of this writing.
This declining engagement suggests a broader apathy toward the Snow White remake.

Unlike typical films that generate buzz and anticipation leading up to their release, Snow White appears to be losing traction, with audiences no longer even motivated to engage in “hate watching.” The waning interest could be a harbinger of disappointing box office results, as potential viewers seem indifferent rather than actively opposed.
A significant factor contributing to this downturn is the growing disapproval of Rachel Zegler, Disney’s chosen Snow White.
Our previous coverage detailed Zegler’s tumultuous tenure since her casting, marked by a series of public missteps that have alienated fans.

From her initial remarks clarifying that she would not bleach her skin for the role—a statement that many perceived as defensive regarding her Hispanic heritage—to her increasingly erratic and tone-deaf interviews, Zegler has sparked considerable controversy. Her comparisons of herself to priceless Louvre sculptures and her critique of the original Disney animated classic as sexist and outdated have only deepened the divide among audiences.
Zegler’s political stances have further exacerbated her unpopularity. Her advocacy for Palestine, juxtaposed with co-star Gal Gadot’s Israeli military background, created a contentious dynamic that did not sit well with many viewers.

The situation reached a boiling point following the 2024 US presidential election, when Zegler publicly condemned President-elect Donald Trump and his supporters with the statement, “may Trump and his supporters never know peace.” The backlash from this remark was swift and severe, forcing Zegler to issue an official apology on social media—a gesture met with skepticism regarding its authenticity.
Adding to the negative perception of Zegler’s star power is her recent film Y2K, which performed disastrously at the box office, grossing only $4.2 million. This underwhelming performance has further tarnished her reputation, raising questions about her choices and the impact of her public persona on her career.

The confluence of the film’s perceived poor technical execution, particularly the criticized CGI dwarves, and the deteriorating public image of Rachel Zegler has cast a long shadow over Disney’s Snow White. The high number of dislikes on promotional materials coupled with falling views and interactions not only reflects dissatisfaction, but also a potential lack of enthusiasm that could severely hinder the film’s success upon release.
In other words, fewer people are watching, and of those who still are, more of them hate what they see than like it.

Happy new year!!! Hope 2025 is the year Woke dies with no Chance of revival!
NEVER underestimate the power of denial. It’s what keeps people grasping at woke ideology and it’s why Cancel Pigs are increasingly terrorist: they still believe their message is worthy and will do literally anything to be heard no matter the consequences.
She must know by now that she’s immensely despised and I’m sure she’s frantically engaging her PR team to turn this around. And they have no idea how to fix this.
I’ve made up my mind; this is one impending woke disaster of a movie I’ll actually want to watch and see how bad it gets. I’m sure it won’t be too hard to yarr-harr-fiddle-dee-dee once it comes out in theaters.
