Reservations for the “Behind the Seeds” tour at EPCOT are opening October 9th. The one-hour walking tour will run from November 28th through December 30, 2025 as a part of EPCOT’s 2025 International Festival of the Holidays. There will be three nightly sessions at 6 PM, 7 PM, and a new addition for this year, 8 PM.

This marks the second consecutive year the holiday-themed tour has been offered.

Tour Overview

The tour offers a unique experience through EPCOT’s Living with the Land pavilion, offering guests a festive, after-dark exploration of The Land Pavilion’s greenhouses.

In addition to the normal explanation of the hydroponic and aquaponic systems within the greenhouses, the festive tour will showcase crops that contribute to traditional holiday flavors. 

Reservation Process

Reservations for the “Behind the Seeds” tour can be made through the official Walt Disney World website or by contacting Disney’s reservation center. Given the popularity of the tour in its inaugural year, it’s advisable to book in advance, as tour slots may fill quickly, especially during peak visitation periods.

Reservations can be made through the official Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app. While same-day reservations may be available, they are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Guests should ensure they have valid park admission for EPCOT on the day of the tour. 

Tour Details

  • Duration: Approximately 60 minutes

  • Availability: Offered daily; 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM

  • Cost: $50.15 per person, plus tax

  • Accessibility: The tour is wheelchair accessible

  • Age Requirement: Guests of all ages are welcome, though guests under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

  • Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable footwear, as the tour involves walking.

  • Photography is permitted; however, the use of flash may be restricted in certain areas.

  • The tour operates rain or shine; appropriate weather attire is recommended.

“A cast member” – who wants to go on holiday just to look at scruffy plain Janes? This is the problem with Disney. It’s not “magical” any more. Not since it went DEI.
