The new RippaWorks animation campaign is about one thing: turning Rippaverse stories into full animated episodes.
The campaign begins with a $100,000 goal to greenlight a roughly six-minute ISOM episode created by human artists using a combination of 2D, 2.5D, and 3D animation. Additional goals add professional voice acting, original music, and sound design, while larger milestones unlock episodes featuring The Horseman, Yaira, Alphacore, and an Exclave-centered team-up finale.
Backers get to experience the results first, but ultimately, everyone gets to watch the episodes for free.
What is Rippaverse?
Rippaverse is an independent comic book publisher founded in 2022 by musician and online personality Eric July. Its comics share an original fictional universe populated by superheroes, vigilantes, soldiers, assassins, monsters, aliens, and other characters, with many of its earliest stories centered around the fictional city of Florespark, Texas.
While Isom introduced many readers to the universe, Rippaverse has expanded into several genres through titles including Yaira, Alphacore, The Horseman, Bloodruth, Dirty Deeds, Arcstream, and others. That has allowed different creative teams to tell superhero, horror, science-fiction, action, and war stories while contributing to the same larger fictional world.
The company has built its brand around independent publishing, direct relationships with customers, and character-driven entertainment. Now, Rippaverse Studios wants to bring that universe into animation.
All the Details about Rippaverse Animated Universe
Rippaverse Studios is taking its next major step into animation.
A new RippaWorks crowdfunding campaign will give fans the opportunity to help fund full animated Rippaverse episodes, with each completed story running approximately six minutes. Rather than promotional clips or proof-of-concept material, the goal is to produce complete stories featuring characters from across the Rippaverse Universe and begin building toward something much larger.

The first target is $100,000, which will greenlight Episode One: ISOM. From there, additional funding goals will expand the production of that episode, while major stretch milestones will unlock entirely new episodes featuring The Horseman, Yaira, Alphacore, and ultimately a team-up finale built around Exclave.
Every completed episode will eventually be released free for everyone to watch, while the people who back the campaign will get to see what they helped create first.
Full Animated Stories Made by Human Artists
The new RippaWorks campaign is centered on finished animated storytelling. Each episode is planned to run approximately six minutes and will use a combination of 2D, 2.5D, and 3D animation depending on what best serves the characters, action, environments, and story.
Most importantly, the animation will be created by human artists. No AI-generated animation will be used in these episodes.

Rippaverse Studios has already spent time developing its animation pipeline through previous projects and promotional pieces featuring characters such as Isom, Alphacore, Yaira, The Horseman, and others. This next campaign takes what has been learned through that process and applies it toward complete narrative episodes.
The objective isn’t simply to make something that looks good for a few seconds. It is to tell an actual Rippaverse story through animation.
It Starts With Isom
The campaign’s first major goal is straightforward: raise $100,000 to greenlight Episode One: ISOM.
Reaching that milestone means the first complete episode moves forward. Additional campaign goals will then expand the production with a full professional voice cast, followed by an original score and professional sound design.
From there, the scope begins to grow considerably.

If the campaign reaches $450,000, a second episode featuring The Horseman will be unlocked. At $625,000, Yaira joins the animated lineup. At $800,000, the campaign unlocks an Alphacore episode.
Finally, reaching $1 million unlocks the biggest project of the campaign: a team-up finale built around Exclave.
That gives supporters a clear view of where the money is going and what each major milestone makes possible. The further the campaign goes, the larger the animated slate becomes.
Back Rippaverse Animated Universe First, Watch the Animations First
One of the most important parts of this project is that these episodes aren’t intended to remain permanently locked behind a purchase or subscription.
Every completed episode will eventually be released free for everyone to watch, but backers will be the people who get them first!

The campaign is designed to give supporters the opportunity to directly help make these episodes possible while receiving early access and campaign-exclusive rewards in return. Support tiers range from $10 to $10,000, giving fans several ways to participate depending on how involved they want to be.
The flagship tier is Keyframe at $100, which includes a campaign-exclusive comic along with the Phase One Blu-ray.
For supporters interested in being part of the effort from the beginning, the campaign offers a tangible way to help determine how far the animated slate can go.
What Happens to the Current Animation Fund?
Before this new RippaWorks campaign launches, we will be closing the current Rippaverse Studios Animation Fund. We want to be extremely clear about what that means: the Animation Fund and this new full-episode campaign are two completely separate campaigns.
Closing the Animation Fund does not cancel or replace anything that was promised through it. Every existing obligation from that campaign remains on its own production and fulfillment track.

The Great War of Separation #4 and Dirty Deeds #2 – Rippaverse
The animated clips funded through that campaign will still be produced. The trailer will still be produced. Any physical items and other promised rewards will still be delivered.
Those commitments remain exactly that – commitments. Supporters of the existing Animation Fund will receive communication about its closure before the new campaign is formally announced so there is no confusion between what they previously supported and what is being launched next.
The new RippaWorks campaign starts fresh with a different objective: funding complete animated episodes.
What Happens If the First Goal Isn’t Reached?
Crowdfunding only works when supporters understand what they are funding and what happens to their money. For this campaign, the first threshold is $100,000. That is the amount required to greenlight Episode One: ISOM. If the campaign does not reach that first goal, every contribution will automatically be refunded in full.
That means the campaign either raises enough to move forward with the first episode or supporters get their money back. There is no scenario where the campaign falls short of the minimum production goal and keeps the contributions anyway.
Building the Rippaverse Animated Universe One Episode at a Time. Rippaverse has always been built around direct support between creators and the people who want to see their work succeed. RippaWorks expands that model by giving us a place to experiment with projects beyond our traditional comic releases and determine what audiences want to see become reality.
Rippaverse Animation – Rippaverse
Animation is a significant undertaking, particularly when the objective is to build something sustainable rather than produce a one-time novelty. This campaign creates a clear path forward: fund one complete episode, improve that episode as additional goals are reached, and then begin unlocking more stories.
- At $100,000, ISOM gets his episode.
- At $450,000, The Horseman joins him.
- At $625,000, Yaira enters the lineup.
- At $800,000, Alphacore gets its turn.
At $1 million, those efforts culminate in a team-up finale built around Exclave, bringing the full animated slate together for its biggest story yet. How far this campaign goes will ultimately be determined by the fans who want to see these stories brought to life. This is the next step for Rippaverse animation, and with your support, we can see just how far it can go.
