Rosie O’Donnell’s long-running feud with President Donald Trump escalated yet again this week — not through a new accusation or policy critique, but through a deliberate refusal to even say his name while continuing to devote extended public rants to attacking him.

In a new TikTok video posted from Ireland, where O’Donnell now resides, the comedian launched into another tirade following the Kennedy Center board’s decision to rename the venue “The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts.”

Rather than refer to President Trump directly, O’Donnell repeatedly avoided using his name altogether as if the President were the Dark Lord Voldemort from Harry Potter.

Refusing to Say the Name While Fixating on Trump

In the video, titled “Saturday Night Ramble,” Rosie O’Donnell referred to President Trump only as “It,” describing him in explicitly dehumanizing terms.

“The Kennedy Center debacle. It has gone too far. It is seriously unwell. It needs to be removed from office. It, the nameless blob of negative energy. It,” O’Donnell said.

Despite her refusal to say President Trump’s name, the monologue quickly centered entirely on him, continuing a pattern that has followed O’Donnell for years — even after leaving the United States.

O’Donnell previously revealed that she moved to Ireland shortly before President Trump’s inauguration, framing the relocation as a necessary step for her mental health. Yet her public fixation has not subsided with distance.

A Pattern That Continues Abroad

According to Fox News Digital, O’Donnell’s focus on President Trump has remained constant since his original time in office, continuing “unabated” even while living overseas.

The outlet also cited a previous interview with The Washington Post in which O’Donnell admitted that she had promised her therapist she would refrain from posting about Trump — a promise that reportedly collapsed within hours.

The irony is difficult to miss: while physically distancing herself from the U.S. political environment, O’Donnell has remained rhetorically consumed by it.

White House Response Previously Addressed the Behavior

The White House has previously commented on O’Donnell’s ongoing public attacks, responding bluntly to her repeated outbursts.

“Rosie O’Donnell clearly suffers from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, and it’s better for the entire country that she decided to move away,” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital.

That statement, referenced again in the current coverage, illustrates how O’Donnell’s behavior has shifted from political criticism into something more personal and performative — a pattern highlighted by her refusal to even acknowledge President Trump by name.

Symbolic Protest or Obsessive Fixation?

Avoiding a political opponent’s name is not a new tactic, but in O’Donnell’s case, it appears less like a principled stand and more like a rhetorical contradiction. The Saturday Rosie O’Donnell monologue centers entirely on President Trump, yet she attempts to symbolically erase him through language — all while amplifying his presence through repeated references.

The result is a paradox: a public figure claiming disengagement while demonstrating the opposite.

Whether intended as protest or coping mechanism, O’Donnell’s latest outburst reinforces a long-standing reality — even from thousands of miles away, she remains unable to stop talking about the man she refuses to name.

Mad Lemming

She’s Patient Zero for TDS. Literally, before it even had a name. She’s had this psychotic obsession with Trump for decades now and it’s just gotten worse after he got elected twice. If she “refuses to say his name,” so what? She’s a has-been and a coward that fled the country under her own paranoid delusions. Everything she says and does should be viewed as an extension of her very real psychosis.
