Rosie O’Donnell is no stranger to controversy, especially when it comes to Donald Trump and conservative figures. But her latest social media activity crosses into dangerous territory. Just days after the tragic assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, Rosie O’Donnell chose to amplify a claim that had already been proven false — a claim so inflammatory that even horror author Stephen King, who first spread it, was forced to walk it back and issue an apology.

The Origins of the Smear

The Charlie Kirk falsehood spread by Rosie O’Donnell traces back to September 12, 2025, when Stephen King posted on X that Kirk had advocated stoning gay people to death. The allegation quickly spread online, fueling outrage. But it wasn’t long before fact-checkers and critics pointed out that King had misunderstood Kirk’s words.

King ultimately admitted his error, deleted the post, and issued a public apology.

That should have been the end of the story. But Rosie O’Donnell decided otherwise.

Rosie Doubles Down

Instead of correcting the record, Rosie O’Donnell reposted a meme to her Instagram story claiming: “Charlie Kirk advocated stoning gays to death. Just sayin’” with the caption: “he did say it… unfortunately.”

In doing so, O’Donnell repeated the very lie that King himself had retracted. And she didn’t stop there. Other posts accused Kirk of being “anti-women,” “anti-children,” “anti-planet,” and even “pro-gen***de.”

The timing makes these attacks all the more shocking. Rather than condemning political violence and respecting the grieving process, O’Donnell chose to inflame tensions with accusations that have no basis in fact.

What Kirk Actually Said

The original moment that gave rise to this falsehood came when Kirk responded to a progressive commentator quoting Leviticus to support Pride events. Kirk pushed back by pointing out that the same Biblical text also prescribes stoning as punishment. His point was not to endorse stoning, but to show the hypocrisy of cherry-picking scripture for political convenience.

This is what Stephen King later admitted he misunderstood. Kirk was making a rhetorical argument about selective citation, not calling for violent punishments.

Why This Matters

The assassination of Charlie Kirk has already sent shockwaves through American politics. It should be a moment for reflection, unity, and a rejection of violence as a political weapon. Instead, figures like Rosie O’Donnell are using the Charlie Kirk tragedy as an opportunity to amplify falsehoods and smear the dead.

Even Stephen King, who has spent years blasting conservatives, recognized that he had crossed a line and corrected himself. Rosie O’Donnell has not. By doubling down on misinformation, she risks further dividing a country already on edge — and she disrespects both the truth and the memory of a man who lost his life in a political attack.

The Bottom Line

Charlie Kirk never advocated stoning gay people. That claim is false. Stephen King spread it, realized his mistake, and apologized. Rosie O’Donnell, however, has chosen to repeat the debunked smear against Charlie Kirk without correction.

At a time when America should be demanding honesty and responsibility in public discourse, Rosie O’Donnell has shown neither.

The Democrat party is suffering an exodus of people who are shocked that it is filled with fukced up Karens like Rosie ODonnel, calling for violence against gentlemen. She’s a fascist, and, yes, fascists are Left wingers.
