A new rumor about Marvel’s plan for the X-Men claims that they plan to “focus more on the female members of their team.”
This latest rumor comes from scooper Daniel Richtman via ComicBookMovie.com, who reports, “the initial idea is to focus more on the female members of the team.”
Furthermore, the outlet notes, “Kevin Feige is believed to want to make the movie as different to the 20th Century Fox franchise as possible, which also means no Magneto for the time being.”
The report also indicates the main villain being posited right now is Mister Sinister.

This latest rumor comes in the wake of a previous report that Marvel Studios was not even going use the X-Men moniker in the film’s title.
Deadline reported back in July 2022, that Marvel Studios was going to title their upcoming X-Men project, The Mutants.
That report came just a few years after former Marvel Studios executive Victoria Alonso claimed that the X-Men name was outdated.
Alsono informed Luis Lecca of YouTube channel Nuke the Fridge, “I don’t know where the future is going. It’s funny that people call it the X-Men, there’s a lot of female superheroes in that X-Men group, so I think it’s outdated.”
She continued, “I don’t know where it’s going to go. We’ll see. They just now have joined. They actually have a movie [Dark Phoenix] coming out soon, which under that banner is their last film. So, we’ll see what time will tell.”
This rumor is unsurprising given the current direction the Marvel Cinematic Universe has taken over the last few years. The franchise has rightfully earned the moniker MSheU given that it’s sidelined many of its more prominent male characters for female characters. And if they haven’t sidelined their male characters they have outright changed the character’s genderOne need only look at recent releases such as Black Widow that saw infamous villain Taskmaster be gender-swapped into a female character. Other examples include Hawkeye being replaced by Kate Bishop, Mar-Vell being gender-swapped in Captain Marvel, and Jane Foster becoming Thor and humiliating and emasculating Thor in the process.
Maybe the most egregious example is the recently released Secret Invasion that saw Emilia Clarke’s G’iah become the most powerful Skrull on the planet gaining the superpowers of nearly every single Marvel villain and hero.
In order to gain these abilities she uses the Harvest, which is described in the show by Nick Fury. He says, “Nearly every Avenger spilled blood in the Battle of Earth. Even Carol Danvbers. In the aftermath, some were sent into collect that DNA. Some with the ability to blend in. Nobody knew about them but me and the collectors, led by Gravik , which is probably where he got the idea for the Super Skrull machine.”
Not only did the Harvest contain the DNA of all of the individuals that participated in the Battle of Earth, but it also featured the DNA of other superheroes and villains such as Abomination and Ghost.
If this rumor indeed turns out to be true, it’s just more of the same from Marvel Studios and indicates that the X-Men are already dead on arrival and the company will just be burning up cash as the film will screen to empty theaters similar to The Marvels.

Well, it makes sense that the X-Wimmyn would go against a “Mister” who’s sinister! Could they be any more obvious with this stuff? ROTFL!
I can’t wait to not see it.
They will go out of their way to emasculate the male characters and invalidate their character arcs. Business as usual.
