Racers, get your running shoes on. runDisney has published its official race calendar schedule for the 2026–2027 season, detailing dates and registration windows for its scheduled events in Florida and a series of virtual races. The calendar covers events from June 2026 through April 2027 and outlines opportunities for both in-person and virtual participation.
All four major race weekends are back for competitors to join.

These virtual options allow participants across the United States to complete their race distances independently and claim virtual race medals. Virtual race participation is typically limited to those with U.S. mailing addresses.
Club runDisney Membership
Club runDisney is a paid annual membership program that provides participants with early access to registration for select runDisney race weekends and events.

Membership tiers vary by price and benefits, but early registration windows are generally available to Gold and Platinum members ahead of general public registration. Additional benefits may include merchandise access, race weekend amenities, and exclusive member offerings, depending on membership level. Club runDisney membership does not guarantee race entry, as registrations remain subject to availability and capacity limits.
How Quickly runDisney Races Tend to Fill Up
runDisney races generally draw large numbers of participants, and most events sell out quickly after registration opens. Popular race distances — especially shorter events like 5Ks and 10Ks — can reach capacity within minutes to a few hours on the day registration begins.

Longer distances and multi-race challenges often also sell out on the same day, though occasionally they may remain open for several hours or up to a day before reaching capacity. Marquee weekends like the Walt Disney World Marathon and Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend have seen many distances sell out within the first hour of general registration.
Absence of Disneyland Events
The 2026–2027 runDisney calendar does not include any in-person races at Disneyland Resort in California. Multiple reports confirm that runDisney events at Disneyland are on an ongoing hiatus due to construction impacts, and no Disneyland race weekends are scheduled for the upcoming season.

This means that all runDisney in-person events for the 2026–2027 season will occur at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, aside from the virtual races. Some race organizers and industry observers note that this change reflects planning limitations at Disneyland amid resort expansion projects.
