What do you do when the best you can say for an episode is that it spared you from a post-credits scene?
She-Hulk is back for an zero action-packed non-thriller of an episode. In this dandy little outing, we get to watch Jen duke it out in court over a copyright claim on the name “She-Hulk.” It is seldom funny, it is often boring and nearly every character featured in the episode just makes you dislike them more than you than you did before. But the most unforgiveable thing about this episode is that it is utterly, completely boring.
I can keep going on for paragraph after paragraph explaining to you just how boring and pointless this is, but I don’t see much reason to do so. I could tell you more productive things to do than watching the fifth episode… like observing the growth of your toenails in real time.
Instead, here’s a clip that demonstrates how superficial this entire thing is:

And I’ll also conclude by saying that if you thought the CGI was bad before, they took it to a new low-budget level in this episode. It’s early 2000’s video game cutscene level bad.
At this point, reviewing more episodes of She-Hulk is a little bit like watching roadkill get run over five, six, seven times. The only difference is this show is still somehow alive, even just a little, and I seriously wish they’d go put it out of its misery.
Go watch anything else on any platform. It’s better.
Review Score: 1.0 (Horrendous)
