Six Flags is bringing the Diablo video game franchise to two of its amusement parks for the 2026 Halloween season. The new haunted attraction, “DIABLO: The Infernal Path,” will operate at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, and Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia.

The Six Flags Diablo maze will use characters and settings from Blizzard Entertainment’s dark fantasy action role-playing game series, including the Butcher, Mephisto, Lillith, Baal, and Diablo himself. The attraction will debut during Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends and Kings Dominion’s Halloween Haunt.

It will feature a story set in Sanctuary, the fictional world where the Diablo games take place. Six Flags’ director of entertainment Kelly Daugherty described the experience’s unique way for fans to interact with the game, “The attraction combines the franchise’s legendary demons, dark mythology and intense atmosphere with the immersive scares our guests expect during HalloWeekends and Halloween Haunt.”

What the Six Flags Diablo Maze Will Include

The story begins after a ritual damages the barrier between worlds. According to the attraction’s description, the event allows ancient evil to enter Sanctuary.

Guests will walk through themed environments as they encounter characters from the Diablo franchise.

The maze will draw on the franchise’s themes of demonic forces, “corrupted pathways,” and the conflict between Sanctuary and the Burning Hells.

Six Flags Diablo Maze Comes to Cedar Point

Cedar Point will present the attraction as part of its 2026 HalloWeekends event. The park’s official website lists HalloWeekends on select dates from September 17 through November 1, 2026. HalloWeekends includes seasonal entertainment, haunted mazes and scare zones. The park also operates rides during the event, although some attractions and activities may have separate schedules.

Guests need a Haunted Attractions Pass to enter Cedar Point’s haunted mazes. The pass is separate from regular park admission, according to the park’s official Halloween information.

Cedar Point says its 2026 HalloWeekends event marks its 29th year. The event operates on select dates rather than every day between September and November.

Kings Dominion will Also Host the Maze

Kings Dominion will also add “DIABLO: The Infernal Path” to its Halloween Haunt program in 2026. The park’s dedicated Halloween Haunt page currently lists the event on select nights from September 18 through November 1.

Kings Dominion also requires a Haunted Attractions Pass for its haunted mazes. The park’s Halloween Haunt information states that the pass provides access to its haunted attractions.

Halloween Haunt includes haunted mazes, scare zones, live entertainment and nighttime rides. The event operates separately from Kings Dominion’s regular daytime programming.

Marking the Game’s 30th Anniversary

Diablo’s inclusion this year is no accident as the game celebrates its 30th anniversary. Gavian Whishaw, vice president and executive producer of Diablo IV, shared his thoughts on the anniversary. “For 30 years, Diablo has challenged players to descend into the darkness and face the horrors that haunt Sanctuary. Celebrating that milestone by bringing Sanctuary to life at Six Flags feels like a fitting way to mark our anniversary.”

“DIABLO: The Infernal Path” will bring longstanding franchise’s characters into the Halloween events at Cedar Point and Kings Dominion. The attraction will join the parks’ existing lineup of seasonal entertainment and haunted attractions, giving the 2026 Halloween season another licensed video game-based maze at two Six Flags parks.
