In preparation for Tron’s debut, plus its incredible lighting, Walt Disney World has upped Space Mountain’s nighttime beauty as well.

Last night was the start of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and boy did they pull off some really cool new features. There was the Max Goof appearance in the parade that we’ll probably have as our Spotlight Video tomorrow. There were awesome fireworks and even access into the old Stitch’s Great Escape queue. But maybe the coolest thing out of all that is that they showed off the new lighting abilities for Space Mountain installed over the summer. And though we’ve seen some testing in the early morning hours, nothing looked this great until now.

Is that not really cool for the Space Mountain roofline? I know I’m loving it and can’t wait to see things like red, white and blue stripes for Memorial Day, red and green for Christmas, etc.
