I had privately informed the Overlord DVD Channel last week that spirits were very high on the renewed Indiana Jones 5 production sets. In particular, I relayed that Antonio Banderas had been a huge uplifter of spirits on set. Now, images are leaking out that show just how pleased Harrison Ford was to spend time again with an old friend. The two have not starred in a film together since Expendables 3. Unfortunately, as we’ve reported, something has shifted and the movie has been delayed by an entire year. Harrison Ford will be nearly 82 (and could actually be 82) by the time the film releases. The best case scenario is now the movie coming out in 2023.

It’s also noteworthy that Harrison Ford’s double is being used extensively in an effort to ensure no injury occurs again, as that could legitimately result in a cancellation of the film.
With all of that said, I’m pulling for Harrison Ford. I may report on Kathleen Kennedy having lost the confidence of Disney, I may report on James Mangold not being truthful or attacking fans… but I’m all for Harrison Ford getting an epic end to the Indiana Jones franchise. Do I worry based on Overlord DVD’s script confirmations? You bet… and I’ll be covering those soon. But I’m pulling for Harrison Ford and love seeing him and Antonio Banderas having a great time together.
And you’ve gotta say, after being gone for three months, Ford has come back looking GREAT!
