The two Sunshine Churros kiosks at Disney Springs have permanently closed. Their final reported day of operation was Saturday, September 5, 2026.
The Sunshine Churros Disney Springs locations operated in two areas: the Marketplace and the West Side. WDWMagic first reported the impending closure on September 4.
As of September 7, Walt Disney World has not publicly announced the closures or identified replacements for the two kiosks in the sources reviewed.
Sunshine Churros Closed
Sunshine Churros had two locations at Disney Springs. One stood in the Marketplace, while the other operated on the West Side. Disney’s official Disney Springs directory lists Sunshine Churros under its carts and kiosks category. The company’s Disney Springs directory also listed operating hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for both locations before the closure.
The kiosks served churros and beverages.
Disney’s published menu for the Marketplace location provides details about the food and drinks available before the closure. The Classic Churro appeared on the menu for $6.25 and came with cinnamon sugar.

The menu also listed a Gourmet Churro for $7.99. Guests could pick from six flavors, each with its own drizzle and dipping sauce. Listed flavors included Dulce de Leche, Oreo Cheesecake, Grandma’s Homemade Apple Pie, Salted Caramel Delight, Fruity Pebble Cereal and Strawberry Cheesecake.
The beverage menu included DASANI bottled water, assorted bottled beverages, smartwater and POWERADE.
No Replacement Announced
The available reports do not identify a replacement for either Sunshine Churros kiosk.

Disney has also not publicly provided a reason for the closure. That leaves the future of both kiosk spaces unclear.
Sunshine Churros Opened at Disney Springs in 2019
Sunshine Churros began operating at Disney Springs in August 2019, when both kiosks opened at the same time.
The original menu differed from the one Disney listed before the 2026 closure. When Sunshine Churros opened, its specialty options included seven specialty options: watermelon, apple cinnamon, Fruity Pebbles, salted caramel, cherry limeade and peach mango. Disney continues to list churros at other locations across the resort. For example, the official Walt Disney World website lists churros at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Magic Kingdom. Disney also lists churros at Eight Spoon Café in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
What Happens to the Two Kiosk Spaces?
The future of the two Sunshine Churros spaces remains unconfirmed. The Marketplace and West Side spaces could eventually receive new food or beverage concepts, but there is no verified announcement about their next use.
