Supply chain issues are reportedly causing Disney World and Disney Stores to further restrict sales of merchandise. Currently much of the 50th anniversary merchandise is restricted to 2 of the same item per customer. However, restrictions are growing with new signs showing up in places around the Resort. Even hotel souvenir shops are restricting purchases.
With shipping containers stuck in the ocean at unprecedented levels, many companies are having to find novel ways of maintaining inventory. Some large retailers are even chartering their own ships at great expense.
So while Black Friday may be affected, Disney Parks are likely as well. If you’re wanting to make a purchase from the Disney Store, now might be the time to do so.
