The Best Breakfast Buffet at Disney World Nobody Knows About

The Garden Gallery on the bottom floor of Shades of Green hosts a little-known gem at Disney World. This all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is perfect for the family with reasonable prices. You think Chef Mickey’s or the Crystal Palace are great breakfast all-you-care-to-eats? You’ll change your opinion quickly once you’ve stopped by the amazing Garden Gallery!

The Menu

The buffet offers a wide variety of breakfast options. Whether you want a traditional eggs and bacon meal, or something a little more unique like cornbeef hash and churros, everyone in the family will have something for them. There is a fruit bar with yogurt and cottage cheese. As well as a variety of hot options: kalabasa with onions and peppers, potato hash, pizza, and various pastries. Additionally, guests can get made-to-order omelets, waffles, and pancakes, traditional or chocolate chip. And don’t forget the Mickey waffles!

Everything here is fresh and presented very well. Chefs are on hand to assist with many of the items. And though you might imagine something breakfast-related is missing, it’s hard to think of much they have forgotten. Everything hot and cold is presented here. The great thing about it is that the food is all very tasty. The eggs are fresh, the pancakes made right in front of you. For those who have gluten allergies or other food issues, they’re also fantastic about having options available.

Pricing

Adults can get in for $17.50 a person. Kids 5-11 eat for $10, and the littles 2-4 eat for a mere $3.50. Considering drinks are included in the price, alcohol excluded, this is a great price for a Disney buffet.

Location

The only thing that may be a downside to this buffet is it’s location, inside Shades of Green. Unlike the other resorts at Walt Disney World, SoG is only accessible to those who have reservation. Only active military personnel and their families can make reservations, save select times in the year when veterans can as well. That’s part of what makes Shades of Green special, but it means a lot of families may not be able to enjoy.

Set on the bottom floor, the Garden Gallery is surrounded by windows where guests can enjoy the greenery of this beautiful resort. Our niece was delighted one morning when two turkeys strutted up to the window.

And don’t forget to come back for dinner. The Garden Gallery has a full-takeout menu as well as custom-made pizzas, pasta and rice bowls. It’s perfect for late-night munch. Word to the wise: the past is some of the best eats at Disney!
