It’s sad to see something fall so far that even the most ardent fans have abandoned all hope. The Mandalorian has finally done so.
Well, I think it finally happened. The Mandalorian has finally lost me. I’ve been trying to hold out hope that somehow Favreau and Filoni were going to pull a rabbit out of a hat, but it feels like they’ve lost the narrative focus they had in the first two seasons. Season 3 looks like it’s become a vehicle for stunt-casting, pre-planned endpoints that require narrative contrivances to get there, and almost fourth-wall breaking commentary on society and the concerns of the fanbase.
This is the worst "#StarWars" I have ever seen! @Jon_Favreau & @BryceDHoward you should be ashamed and embarressed for making this garbage! If you thought #Grogu jumping was an embarrassing scene, check this out! #TheMandalorian #Mando #DisneyStarWarsIsntStarWars pic.twitter.com/Nee8e4qAbt

Combined with the attitude of Iger on display in the Annual Shareholders Meeting this week, this will not go over well.
In the absence of pain, Disney will not learn. It’s time to cancel Disney+.
