Something strange just happened in the ongoing Snow White disaster, and it raises serious questions about Disney’s influence over the media. The Hollywood Reporter (THR) recently ran an article acknowledging the many PR struggles surrounding the upcoming Snow White remake. One of the most notable sections detailed how Disney originally cast a diverse group of actors of various sizes and genders to replace the Seven Dwarfs—something that was widely mocked when leaked Snow White set photos surfaced.

The article even admitted that after backlash, Disney pivoted and made the dwarfs CGI to resemble the original 1937 characters.

But then, a very short time later, THR edited the article. The updated version now claims that reports about the Seven Dwarfs were “erroneous” and that director Marc Webb always planned for them to be CGI. This sudden revision seems like a blatant attempt to erase Disney’s earlier mistake, and it follows a long history of the studio flip-flopping on this issue while trying to avoid responsibility.

THR’s Quiet Edit—A Rewrite of History?

For months, Disney remained silent about its disastrous handling of the Seven Dwarfs, hoping audiences would forget the entire fiasco. But The Hollywood Reporter’s original article finally acknowledged what everyone already knew: Disney tried to modernize the dwarfs, faced backlash, and then pivoted to CGI when it blew up in their faces.

“The production likewise originally cast a diverse group of actors of various sizes and genders to play the Seven Dwarfs, which was met with uproar and mockery from purists when set photos leaked. The characters were then reworked with CGI to appear like the dwarfs in the original film.”

However, after publication, that section was edited to downplay Disney’s backtracking. The new version now insists that director Marc Webb always intended for the dwarfs to be CGI, as if the live-action photos and reports never existed.

“There were also a erroneous reports regarding the Seven Dwarfs. From the outset, Webb intended for them to be CGI characters based on the 1937 film.”

This raises an important question: Did Disney pressure THR to rewrite history? Given the studio’s track record of trying to control the narrative around its troubled projects, it wouldn’t be surprising. This quiet edit is a clear attempt to erase past mistakes and avoid admitting that Disney caved under pressure.

The Snow White Dwarfs Controversy—A Timeline of Chaos, Outrage, and Ridicule

The Snow White Seven Dwarfs debacle started in 2022 when actor Peter Dinklage—best known for Game of Thrones—criticized Disney’s remake, calling it “backward” and attacking the idea of dwarfs being portrayed at all.

“You’re progressive in one way, but then you’re still making that f***ing backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave,” he said in an interview.

Disney, always eager to appease activists, immediately scrambled to respond. The studio announced that it would take a “different approach” to the Seven Dwarfs in this version of Snow White. Not long after, set photos leaked showing that the dwarfs had been reimagined as a diverse group of men and women of various heights—essentially replacing them with generic human characters.

The backlash was swift and brutal. Many accused Disney of trying too hard to be “modern” while throwing out one of the most iconic elements of the original 1937 animated Disney classic Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.

Fans ridiculed the change, questioning why the studio was so afraid of portraying actual dwarfs while still using the same fairy-tale setting. This also received strong backlash from little people actors who were infuriated at being denied seven high profile movie roles.

Then, Disney reportedly panicked again. The final version of the film abandoned the diverse live-action cast and replaced them with CGI dwarfs that were supposed to resemble the 1937 versions—but early images of these CGI creations were also met with ridicule.

Critics called them “soulless,” “cheap,” and “worse than the live-action idea.” The poor CGI quality could lead one to believe that this was a hastily put together decision with a quick turnaround.

Either way, it appears clear that Disney had no real vision for how to handle the Seven Dwarfs and was simply reacting to each new wave of Snow White criticism.

It seems now that Disney wants people to forget that set photo ever leaked and bury the fact that it ever made a mistake in the first place.

But audiences haven’t forgotten. No amount of media spin will change the fact that Disney made one of the worst creative decisions possible, then flip-flopped twice before settling on an equally unpopular final version. The Hollywood Reporter may be trying to cover for Disney, but the truth is already out there.

The woke are always quick to claim everyone else is fascist. Then they engage in fascist methods like revisionist history. The records are very clear: Disney originally planned on live, non-dwarf actors because Peter Dinklage gatekept his fellow little people from getting those roles. Then when the initial photos were widely mocked, they replaced them with CGI.

THR knows that’s the case. But they’re shill media and firmly in the pockets of Hollywoke studios. That also means when Hollywoke finishes its collapse, they’re out of business. So it can’t happen soon enough for me. The sooner we see these yahoos with failing Substacks or in the unemployment lines, the better.

There’s a quote attributed to Karl Marx: “Accuse your enemy of what you’re doing, as you’re doing it, to create confusion.”

Thoughts About Stuff

Revisionist history isn’t “fascist”, it’s communist. Fascists were the people who fought most bravely against the very things you’re criticising.

It’s both. Fascism – big govt, total govt, is necessarily left wing. Communism is another flavour of totalitarianism.

Corporate media has no credibility. It’s either written by the corporation that paid for it or the government that paid for it.

The picture looks so bad. This rather looks like from a Horror movie, than like it’s from a Disney movie.

That Hollywood actor dwarf guy is a complete self serving Ahole anyway. He simply doesn’t want other people to gain a chance playing dwarf parts in Hollywood. It would create competition for him. They don’t live in a cave, it’s a house.

Ass**les, most of hwood people are just that. And even when they try to virtue signal, they are just being themselves.

Snow White (Snow Brown?) with that DEI cast of human “dwarfs” would have been even more mocked. In a sense, Dinklage was right, even if his motives (kill work for his rivals) are crooked.
