On April 18th, That Park Place reported on leaked art for a new Sonic the Hedgehog game that would feature remastered original games and new material for a compilation title. On April 20th, Sonic Origins was given a proper public trailer. There’s a reason readers at That Park Place often know what’s coming days before it makes its way to the mainstream press.
But it isn’t just Sonic the Hedgehog and SEGA looking to make a significant amount of money off of a retro redux. On the exact same day, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge has been given a new gameplay video showing off more than ten minutes of the game. Both Sonic Origins and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge look to have excellent levels of polish and replayability. For eighties and nineties kids, these may be great games to share with a new generation of fans.
It’s not just theme parks and travel that we cover here. It’s streaming, movies and gaming too! If you’re excited for these two upcoming games and the retro flavor they bring, drop a comment down below.
Or how’s this: tell us what your favorite Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis zone is! If it’s Ice Cap Zone, let the wondering begin if the Michael Jackson music will make its way (finally) into this compilation.
