Turning Point USA has announced a rival event to the NFL’s official Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show — and it’s already drawing national attention.
Dubbed “The All American Halftime Show,” the new program is scheduled for February 8, 2026, the same night as Super Bowl LX, and is being promoted as a patriotic celebration of “faith, family, and freedom.”
The organization confirmed the project Thursday across social media, saying performers and additional details will be revealed soon.

“It’s true, Turning Point USA is thrilled to announce The All American Halftime Show. Performers and event details coming soon,” the group wrote on X, emphasizing traditional values.
The event’s website, AmericanHalftimeShow.com, currently hosts a short questionnaire asking visitors which music genres they’d like represented — with options ranging from Country and Classic Rock to Worship and “Anything in English.”
That final choice immediately caught attention online, with many interpreting it as a subtle response to the NFL’s selection of Bad Bunny as this year’s official halftime headliner — an artist whose music and commentary have increasingly courted controversy.
A Dividing Line Over Language and Identity
Bad Bunny, one of the world’s most streamed performers, has been open about his decision to primarily sing in Spanish. His hits like Tití Me Preguntó and Me Porto Bonito dominate international charts, but he has rarely recorded in English and has said he prefers to create in his native language.
In an October appearance on Saturday Night Live, the artist directly addressed American audiences who complained about his Spanish-language lyrics as it pertains to his Super Bowl halftime show performance.

During his monologue, after speaking in Spanish, he told viewers: “And if you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.”
The remark drew laughter from the studio audience but sparked debate online, with critics calling it dismissive toward English-speaking football fans who want to enjoy the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Bad Bunny has collaborated with artists like Drake and Cardi B on bilingual songs, but has never released a full track entirely in English. In past interviews, he’s said he feels no obligation to perform in English.
“I don’t like singing in English,” he said. “And I won’t do it just because someone tells me to.”
Political Undertones Ahead of Super Bowl LX
The controversy surrounding the performer extends beyond language.
In June 2025, Bad Bunny went viral for calling U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents “sons of b—” in a video posted from Puerto Rico.

He later confirmed he had chosen not to tour the mainland United States during his upcoming Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour, citing fears of ICE activity affecting his fans.
“We were very concerned that ICE agents might target my performances,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
The statement drew national headlines — and even prompted comments from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who told podcast host Benny Johnson that ICE agents “will be all over” the 2026 Super Bowl to ensure security and “law-abiding attendance.”
The remarks came after online speculation that federal authorities might increase their presence during Bad Bunny’s performance. However, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt later clarified that there was “no specific plan” for ICE enforcement activity tied to the event.
A Family-Friendly Alternative
Turning Point USA’s new halftime event appears to position itself as a counterweight to that atmosphere.
While details are limited, the group’s branding promises a focus on “faith, family, and freedom” — the same values it has promoted through past live productions and college events.

Though organizers have not explicitly referenced Bad Bunny, the timing and presentation leave little doubt that The All American Halftime Show is designed by Turning Point USA as an alternative for viewers seeking a more traditional broadcast. The inclusion of “Anything in English” as a musical option underscores that sentiment, contrasting sharply with Bad Bunny’s message that Americans should adapt to a Spanish-language performance.
The question now is whether this alternative halftime show can generate enough momentum to rival the NFL’s spectacle — or if it will become a symbolic statement about what viewers believe the Super Bowl should represent.

“Celebrating Faith, Family, & Freedom”
Just to remind people that Kirk sued The View over SPEECH for $100 Million 3 months before he was shöt. Also right before being shöt he was discussing if THE GOVERNMENT should be allowed to deem YOU “Mentally Unfit” to own a Firearm(Chistian School Shooter case).
So don’t be fooled. These people are Leftists who are just trying to convince you that THEIR Censorship is good, and it’s ok to remove Rights if THEY say so………
Ah, the NFL. The Original Budlight. Like other media over the last decade they have decided they needed to pander to an audience that doesn’t generally buy or want to engage with that content while alienating their core demographic (hi2uM-She-U!).
It offends me that the NFL would plant a performer so anti-American as the centerpiece of the half-time show. I don’t know what I expected from the anti-American organization that the NFL has become since praising those taking a knee during the Anthem but this isn’t it. I’d expect them to be doing outreach to their customer base instead of trying to attract a new customer base that has no interest in the NFL and heavily favors soccer as their sport of choice.
It offends me that Bad Bunny calls what he does “singing” (regardless of language) and I fear for a world so dumbed down it would make him one of the most visible “artists” in history.
Bad Bunny’s “music” is offensive, with lyrics that are as degrading as any ghetto rap track, and a stain on the people of the USA and Puerto Rico. He shouldn’t have been allowed anywhere near a mic. Ever.
Unfortunately, I am not one of those people who’s voice counts, especially since I am not an NFL fan and no ratings company counts my viewing habits anyway. But I’ll participate in this Turning Point USA show just because maybe, just maybe, my viewership will be counted and maybe, just maybe, the NFL or other Powers that Be take note of how badly their strategy is failing.
Maybe next year the NFL could add some stadium executions or stoning pits for Sharia Law violations as part of the pre-game show. That is sure to attract a new and thriving Muslim audience! After all, there’s tons of Muslims in the world and the NFL has never really done outreach to get them into the game.
