Florida residents now have a simpler way into Universal’s newest park. Universal Orlando lists a 1-Day Epic Universe Florida resident ticket, a single-park, single-day admission for locals who just want one day at Epic Universe without buying a multi-day bundle or an annual pass.

Universal fan account Coasterwolf0108 first spotted the ticket on X. Universal’s official ticket terms say it admits one guest to Epic Universe on one calendar day.

What the Ticket Covers

According to Universal, the Epic Universe Florida resident ticket is valid only on the date you select, and that date is printed on the ticket. You’ll need proof of Florida residency when you buy it, when you pick it up, and again when you use it. A valid photo ID is required, and standard entry includes a biometric scan.

The usual fine print applies. The ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable, it’s good only during normal operating hours, and it doesn’t include separately ticketed events, parking, or discounts on food and merchandise. Universal also says pricing and availability vary by date.

Prices change by date. Adult tickets start at $109.99 on the lowest-priced dates, but Universal’s ticket calendar shows the resident ticket at about $115 to $185 for dates through the end of 2026, according to Thrill Data. A standard 1-day Epic Universe ticket starts at $139.99 plus tax on Universal’s park tickets page.

The ticket covers Epic Universe only, so it won’t get you into Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure that day.

How Locals Got Into Epic Universe Before

Since Epic Universe opened on May 22, 2025, Florida residents have mostly reached it through bundles. When Universal rolled out its first resident tickets for the park, they were 3-day tickets with one separate day at Epic Universe, while single-day Epic tickets were initially limited to annual passholders.

Those bundles are still on the table. Universal’s deals page currently lists a Florida resident 3-Day, 3-Park ticket with one day each at Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, and Universal Islands of Adventure for $85 per day, or $255 total plus tax, for use through December 23, 2026. Another option pairs two days of park-to-park access at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure with one day at Epic Universe for $95 per day, or $285 total plus tax, on the same timeline. Neither promo is sold at the front gate, and blockout dates apply.

Passholders have their own route. Universal’s Florida resident pass page says a 1-day Epic Universe ticket can be bought as an entitlement linked to a current annual or seasonal pass, with a limit of one per day per pass.

One Day, Five Worlds

A single day is a lot of ground to cover. Epic Universe has five worlds: Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.

Locals planning to hit Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure too may still get more out of one of the multi-day bundles. Anyone who only wants Epic Universe can now buy just that one day.
