Walt Disney World Resort has changed its policy in the past week in response to new guidelines by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Now, guests are required to wear masks again indoors regardless of vaccination status. The policy has not shifted so strongly at Universal Studios and SeaWorld of Orlando, although they are now “recommending” guests wear the face coverings.
“The health and safety of our guests and team members is always our top priority. We encourage all our guests to follow CDC guidelines and local directives to wear face coverings while indoors across our destination.” — Universal Studios Theme Parks
Over at Universal Studios in California, the requirement is that all persons wear masks while indoors, but that is due to local mandate in that area.
Of course, things can and do change in regards to the pandemic. Guests wishing to visit either Universal Studios or SeaWorld should consult their respective websites prior to arrival to ensure no new modifications have been instituted.
Meanwhile, at Dollywood, there is currently no new update based on CDC guideline changes. As of publication, guests at Dollywood must wear a mask if unvaccinated, when indoors, but only if they are above the age of twelve.
